As we are on the subject of drinking, who knows the verses for the 'drunken archer' song and what are they. With IOM coming up it should be fun.

Good man!! I had completely forgot to start this thread! To clarify to all those who missed out on (old) Ian's and Ross's rule of terror at the IoM. A song of true legend between the clubs was created. Better known as ... "What Shall we Do With A Drunken Archer?" known in short as "The Drunken Archer" It is sung to the tune of drunken sailor (obviously) and you may have hear me or others singing it quietly under their breath when drunk (well, me anyway. It replaced "Show me the way to go Home" as my drunken song. there are more verses to this so if anyone can add...

come up with you own retaliatory verses people! e.g. Mitch the elf, or Alan the naked, Ross the unwise, we need one about Ross swimming to the island!

how about mitch and ashleigh to replace gemma and amy that is one coffin i would not liked to be locked in
unfortunatly my musical abbilities are the same as a space born ameboe who has no comprehension of sound so i will leave the creative singing bit to the rest of you

much poking goes on and i think it might be a metaphore for poking or the indescent use of lightbulbs
|
|
|
Post by igglybabe on Feb 21, 2007 13:17:16 GMT
don't know what you mean, the only use of lightbulbs i can think of is screwing into the ceiling or other fittings

Post by Stubbs on Feb 21, 2007 15:26:51 GMT
two verses added, we'll leave the Gemma and Amy in 'cos it rhymes so well.
(retaliat ash! i'm putting eveything in as long as it fits the rhyme pattern.)
