The information for this years Isle of Man student festival of sport has been sent out, you can find it on the website at www.lboroarchery.co.uk/IOM2008.pdf. If you haven't been to the Isle of Man comp before give it serious consideration and all the novices are more than welcome. For me it is one of the best shoots of the year 2 days of archery wrapped up in a great social atmosphere. Ask around there are stories to be heard from everyone who has attended and some of us have been many times. This year the competition is the weekend after the end of term 2 (13th -17th March weekend before easter) and we leave the Thursday before the end of term. I am already looking forward to haveing a great time with old friends (some very old) and some new (this means you novices).

that is asuming the comps dont clash, i assume the usual iom crew will ignore butc, but some still may prefer that, therefore less poeple, so less chance at a lovely discount

at the moment BUTC isn't running as there is no willing volunteer to host, but ingeneral i agree, we have never made 20 people without clashing comps

oh that is a must, what is the point bumming around being a student (posting on forums during the day) if you don't get paid sensible money to do it.

It's for my vehicle design group project. If your doing one for aircraft I'd double check, the department seem to like giving deadlines in the last week of term. I have 3 on the Friday of week 11.
