A few people have been saying how they intend to get equipment for xmas, i thought it would be a good idea to tell you where the archery shops are so you can go and test a bow before buying it. As im sure you all know merlins is the local archery shop, its just out of loughborough. I wouldnt reccomend everybody going there because they have a very limited number of bows avaliable i.e. wooden ones or an Evolution II. If one of these archery shops is local to you then you should go there to find out what you need, you dont have to buy from them (might as well order off the net once you know what you need, cheaper). Archery World, Preston PR5 6AQ Quicks Waterlooville Hampshire PO77JF Apps Court London KT12 2EG Honiton Devon EX14 1SE Sapcote Leicester LE9 4FR. Bowsports Wolverhampton WV10 7DZ Ten Ring Archery Ramsgate Kent CT11 0BH Clickers Archery Norwich NR1 4HU Archery 2000 Essex SS0 9SZ Chiltern Archery Aston Clinton Buckinghamshire HP22 5HZ Redditch West Midlands B98 8YW There are probably loads more but they are the ones with websites. Hope this helps and wasnt a complete waste of time

This is a cracking idea Owain, is it possible to get this thread made sticky so it doesnt drop off into the "old posts" section after however long it is? There is Custom Built Archery in Nottingham as well, the details of the shop are on here. www.custombuilt.co.uk/EDIT: I am not 100% sure if they have a range to test the bows, but i think they probably do
